Dear friends,

It gives us immense pleasure to invite you on the behalf of the organizing committee, to the 9th Annual Conference Skull Base Surgery Society of India, International Skull Base CME and WFNS Microsurgery and Endoscopy Cadaver Workshop being held on 24th-28th October, 2007 at New Delhi, India.

The meeting is hosted by the Skull Base Surgery Society of India and the Skull Base Surgery Committee of the World Federation of Neurological Surgeons.

The meeting would be held in a highly academic atmosphere of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi- the premier clinical, research and training institution of the country. The prime objective of the meeting would be to provide an atmosphere of education through interaction and technology. The meeting has been planned to be a fountainhead of knowledge with distinguished and eminent faculty members from across the globe. There has been an overwhelming response to the first announcement. We are thankful to the registered delegates; all seats for Hands-on Workshop are already full.

Delhi is a city of fusion of the ancient and the modern. The weather in October/November in Delhi is very pleasant. The temperature ranges from 18o-24o Celsius. It is also called the ‘Indian Festive Season’ with the Holy month of Ramzan and Id (Muslim festivals) finishing on the 14th October, the Holy week of Navratras and Durga Puja (Hindu festivals) ending on the 21st October and Diwali (Hindu festival of richness and lights) in the 1st week of November. The City beckons you all to enjoy the grandeur of cultural heritage, culinary delights and bonanza shopping fiesta.

We are sure that your presence will make the conference a grand success.

Yours sincerely,

B S Sharma
